Groovon Content Policy

Version 3 — September 2026

Groovon International Inc. ("Groovon," "we," "us") operates a digital platform that enables users to post content, communicate, and share information.

We act as a hosting service provider and technology intermediary. We do not pre-screen all content. However, we take reports of illegal content and copyright infringement seriously.

This policy explains how to report content and how Groovon responds. All reports can be submitted using the "Report Content" button at the top of this page.

1. Prohibited Content and Monetization

In addition to the conduct restrictions in our Terms of Service, users may not post, upload, sell, offer, or otherwise monetize content that falls into the following categories:

  • Adult content and services — Content that contains nudity or explicit sexual acts, including subscriber-only nude images, adult audio/video live chat, or any other sexually explicit material or service.
  • Intellectual property or proprietary rights infringement — Content that infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary right of a third party, including copyright-infringing content such as leaked or unauthorized music albums or recordings.
  • Violent extremism and hate speech — Content that engages in, encourages, promotes, or celebrates unlawful violence, or hate speech targeting any individual or group based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other immutable characteristic.

Content in these categories is prohibited regardless of whether it is offered for free or for payment, and may result in immediate removal and account suspension or termination under the enforcement ladder described in Section 6.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement (United States – DMCA)

Groovon complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512).

If you believe that content on Groovon infringes your copyright, you can submit a report using the "Report Content" button above and selecting "Report Copyright Infringement." Your notice must include:

  1. Your full name and contact information
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  3. The exact URL or clear identification of the infringing material
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
  5. A statement that the information provided is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receipt of a valid notice, Groovon may:

  • Remove or disable access to the content
  • Notify the user who posted the content

Counter-Notice Procedure

If your content was removed due to a copyright complaint and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice by selecting "Appeal a Decision" from the Report Content menu. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Identification of the removed content
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe removal was a mistake
  3. Your consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate court
  4. Your signature

If a valid counter-notice is received, Groovon may restore the content unless the complainant files a court action within the statutory period.

Repeat Infringers

Groovon may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights.

3. Reporting Illegal or Harmful Content (EU – Digital Services Act)

Groovon provides a mechanism for reporting content that may be illegal or violate applicable laws. You can submit a report by clicking the "Report Content" button above and selecting "Report Illegal or Harmful Content."

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Hate speech
  • Harassment or threats
  • Fraud or scams
  • Incitement to violence
  • Copyright violations
  • Misleading or unlawful commercial content
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or other content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers minors
  • Grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, or attempts to distribute, request, obtain, or facilitate access to CSAM

Groovon strictly prohibits CSAM and child sexual exploitation. Content or conduct involving CSAM may result in immediate removal or restriction and account suspension or termination, and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by applicable law.

Reports must include:

  1. Identification of the content (URL or description)
  2. Explanation of why the content is illegal or harmful
  3. Your contact information (anonymous reports may limit our ability to respond)

How We Handle Reports

Upon receiving a report, Groovon will:

  • Acknowledge receipt
  • Assess the content in a timely manner
  • Remove, restrict, or retain the content based on applicable law and platform policies
  • Inform the reporting party of the outcome where appropriate
  • Inform the affected user of any enforcement action taken

Groovon reserves the right to take action at its discretion where content violates our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

Appeals

If your content is removed or your account is restricted, you may submit an appeal by selecting "Appeal a Decision" from the Report Content menu above. We will review all appeals in good faith.

4. Abuse of Reporting Mechanism

Submitting false, malicious, or fraudulent reports may result in account suspension.

5. No General Monitoring Obligation

Groovon does not have a general obligation to monitor user content. However, we may take proactive measures to detect and prevent illegal activity where appropriate, including automated detection of content prohibited under Section 1.

6. Limitation of Liability

Groovon acts as a hosting service provider and intermediary. We are not responsible for user-generated content unless notified and given the opportunity to act in accordance with applicable law.

7. Automated Moderation and Enforcement

We use an automated AI moderation system, complemented by human review, to detect violations of this policy across messaging and community surfaces in multiple languages. The system applies a tiered enforcement ladder: warning → temporary content hiding → message blocking → account restriction → suspension → ban. Egregious or illegal content (e.g. CSAM, credible threats) triggers immediate blocking and may be reported to authorities.

Moderation logs and flagged content are retained for 12 months to support appeals, consistency reviews, and DSA transparency reporting, then auto-purged unless under legal hold. You may appeal any decision at /moderation/appeals.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updates.
